Education x Skill Development

We offer skills training at no cost to students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to access or afford this kind of training.
TIM Program
The program will deliver advanced skills training using the methodologies and approaches taught at elite institutions such as Stanford d.school. We will teach participants interdisciplinary skills through design thinking, systems thinking, and other relevant tools and mindsets. We will also teach participants social entrepreneurship to help them start their careers in social entrepreneurship or nonprofit leadership. We will use global case studies and public policies to help participants understand complex social challenges, explore practical solutions, and build skills they can apply in real time. Once participants gain interdisciplinary skills and understand social entrepreneurship, we will nurture leadership through immersive, real-world scenarios, from conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement to adaptive decision-making and ethical challenges.

Fellowship Program
The Fellowship supports individuals with expertise in disciplines such as filmmaking, storytelling and writing, photography, animation, graphic design, painting, music, dance, and theatre, to use their creative skills and ideas to drive change at the grassroots level. Depending on the Fellow’s discipline and focus, the fellowship may take various forms. A visual artist can create public murals that highlight issues such as water scarcity or food insecurity, turning neglected walls into canvases for collective voice and hope. A filmmaker could produce a short documentary following the daily lives of ragpickers, using intimate storytelling to humanize systemic inequities.

Nudging
At the core of our approach is the application of behavioral economics, particularly the principle of nudging, which subtly guides individuals toward more sustainable choices without limiting their freedom of choice.
Community-Based Social Marketing (CBSM)
Alongside Nudging, we use Community-Based Social Marketing (CBSM) techniques to identify specific barriers to sustainable behavior and design targeted interventions that are culturally relevant and psychologically informed. By understanding the motivations and constraints people face, we ensure our programs are engaging, impactful, and scalable.
Circular Economy model
We adopted the Circular Economy model to help individuals and communities regularly reduce waste, upcycle, and recycle.
Social Norms Theory
Complementing the circular economy model, we integrate Social Norms Theory, which leverages the power of peer influence and social expectations to encourage positive environmental behaviors. Highlighting what others in the community are doing can significantly increase individual willingness to participate in sustainability efforts.
